Job Description

We are seeking a REMOTE skilled Frontend Engineer with a strong focus on Typescript development. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design and be passionate about creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. While your primary work will be with React and Next.JS, you should also be comfortable reading and understanding other frameworks to handle bug fixes and perform refactoring in 3rd party code when needed and have a great knowledge of typescript and Javascript.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive user interfaces using React in Typescript.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Collaborate closely with the team to deliver projects on time and to specification.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices.

Qualifications

Communication Language

• Both Arabic and English are required for team collaboration, and written communication on ticketing system.

Work Experience

• Years of Applicable Experience – 2 or more years

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong understanding of modern typescript development and testing practices.
• Strong proficiency in React and a deep understanding of modern frontend development practices.
• AWS DevOps and CICD techniques.
• Comfortable working in a remote, distributed team environment.
• Comfortable taking ownership of a project from start to finish
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to understand and communicate technical requirements to project managers
• Experience with UI/UX design or a strong interest in learning more about it (Noting that no design is expected from this position, rather a sense of design to aid in implementing required designs and make better decisions where needed).
• Knowledge of backend development or full-stack experience is nice to have.
• The use of SDLC related systems such as Jira, Confluence, Figma/Jam, teams, and others.
